Where the facts come from
- Platform profiles: the platform’s own public pages (submission form, pricing, rules) and our own submission runs with SeoMap and LaunchRepo. Every profile shows the date of the check.
- Comparisons and alternatives: the competitor’s public website, pricing page and documentation on the date shown, with source links. Unless a page says it was tested hands-on, it describes the competitor from these public pages.
- Numbers about LaunchRepo: prices from the live checkout, sales from the live sales counter, revenue from TrustMRR, which reads it from Stripe. Every figure carries its date.
What we keep apart
- Purchases are not active users. A sales count says how many people bought LaunchRepo, not how many use it today.
- Submitted, in review, scheduled and live are different statuses. Only a live listing counts as published.
- A listing is not a promise of rankings, backlinks or traffic. Every platform decides for itself what it publishes.
- Testimonials come from real, named founders and are shown with their public X profile.
- Public lists show a limited selection of platforms. The full catalog and the playbooks are in the private repository after purchase.
Our own interest
We sell LaunchRepo, and our comparison pages include it. That is why every direct comparison has a section on when the other option is the better choice. Sponsor slots are labelled, link with rel="sponsored" and never change editorial lists or comparisons.
When a date changes
The “Updated” date and the sitemap date change only when the text of a page changes, not with every build. Platform rules, prices and requirements change often, so profiles and comparisons show the date of the last check. Recheck the platform before you pay or submit.

Write to info@thecodecave.de or send a DM to @AleksDoesCode. We correct the page, and its date changes with the correction.
