What LaunchRepo is — and is not
Is this a submission service?
No. It is a repository of playbooks, product context and tracking that your own AI coding or browser agent runs, with your accounts. You stay in control of every submission.
What is not included?
No one submits anything for you, no accounts are created for you, and there is no AI agent in the box — you bring your own (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or a browser agent) and pay its usage to your provider. Directory fees, hosting and third-party services are not included, and no listing, traffic or ranking is guaranteed.
Are listings guaranteed?
No. Every directory has its own rules, moderation and sometimes fees. Your agent records blocked, pending and live outcomes separately so you always know what is real.
Does it submit automatically?
Your agent works through the playbooks and fills in the forms; the repository itself runs nothing in the background. CAPTCHAs, two-factor codes, unclear account states and paid decisions stop the run and are recorded as “needs you”, so you always know where a human is required.
What language are the playbooks in?
English. The website and catalog exist in several languages, but the playbooks, agent instructions and the local dashboard in the repository are English — which is what coding agents handle best. Your product copy can be in any language a directory accepts.
Agents and setup
Which agents work with it?
Any agent that can read files and drive a browser: Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, OpenAI Operator-style browser agents. The repo ships with a browser setup guide for your logged-in Chrome.
How does the browser setup work?
BROWSER-SETUP.md walks you through connecting your agent to a Chrome you can see: Chrome DevTools MCP attached to your logged-in browser, or an isolated profile via CDP as a fallback, plus a supervised smoke check. That way OAuth logins, email confirmations and CAPTCHAs happen in your own session.
Does it run locally or in the cloud?
Locally. The tracker, the record script and the dashboard are Python 3.10+ standard library on macOS or Linux, run on your machine, and the dashboard binds to 127.0.0.1 only. Your product facts, accounts and results stay in a private workspace next to the checkout; nothing is uploaded to us. Windows is not supported.
Do I have to live in the terminal?
No. The repo includes a local dashboard: python3 scripts/dashboard.py opens it in your browser. You see products, states, human handoffs and follow-ups, edit the product brief and record outcomes — your agent keeps using the same files.
Buying and access
Do I need an account before buying?
No. Checkout is a Stripe hosted page: you enter an email and pay. The account-like part comes afterwards — email verification and connecting the GitHub account that should receive access.
How do I get access?
Pay via Stripe, no account needed. Then verify your email and connect your GitHub account — you get invited to the private repo.
How is the repository delivered?
As an invitation to a private GitHub repository, sent to the GitHub account you connect after purchase. Accept it, clone the repository and you have everything — you keep your local copy even if we ever stop distributing.
Are there refunds?
No. LaunchRepo is digital content delivered immediately after payment; by buying you request immediate delivery and lose the right of withdrawal once access is delivered. All sales are final, as stated in the terms. If in doubt, ask before you buy.
How are taxes and VAT handled?
The reference price on the site includes 19 % German VAT. Stripe determines the tax that applies to your country at checkout and shows the final amount before you pay; valid business tax details can change the amount.
Price
Can I use it for several products?
Yes. One payment, perpetual use for unlimited SaaS products you own and unlimited agents. Repository access is bound to one GitHub account.
What else do I pay for?
Your agent’s usage, billed by your provider. Some directories charge for featured spots — the playbooks default to the free path and never authorize purchases.
Why does the price go up?
The price rises by 20 % after every 20 completed sales, counted from real transactions. Early buyers get the lowest step; everyone pays the price shown at their moment of purchase, and later steps change nothing for them.
Will I ever be charged again?
No. There is no subscription, no renewal and no per-launch fee. The single payment covers unlimited own products and unlimited agents for as long as you use it.
Using it
Can I set when launches go live?
Yes. Set an earliest launch date once, and your agent will never schedule anything before it. Many free directories still take their own time to review submissions — a “scheduled” launch can still take several weeks to actually post.
Can I run several products at once?
Yes. Each product has its own brief, identity and tracker in your private workspace; the dashboard shows every product with its states side by side, and the playbooks are shared. The setup guide recommends starting with one agent, one product and one tab at a time.
Do I get updates?
Updates we publish are included; there is no promised cadence or scope. The changelog in the repository lists what changed in each release.
What support is there?
Email support at info@thecodecave.de on a best-effort basis, without guaranteed response times. It covers the repository and its tooling — not performing submissions, configuring your agent or issues with third-party platforms and accounts.
