What to prepare once
- One product text in three lengths
- A name, a tagline of at most 60 characters and a description of about 500. Most launch sites ask for exactly these, including Product Hunt.
- Images in two formats
- A square logo and a few landscape screenshots. Sizes differ per site, so keep the originals and export per platform.
- A decision on badges
- Several free routes need a badge or link on your site. Decide once where it goes and whether you accept it.
- A tracker with honest states
- Submitted, queued, scheduled and live are different things. Write down the date each platform gave you and check back.
Common mistakes
- Asking for upvotes
