When StartupSubmit is the better choice
- You want it done this week. Delivery is published as 5–7 days; an agent run plus your own attention will rarely be faster on the first product.
- You do not want to run an agent at all. Their team does it manually; LaunchRepo only works if you start Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or a browser agent.
- You are launching exactly one product ever. At $99 published for 60+ directories, the entry plan is a smaller cheque than our licence.
- You want a submission-count promise. They publish one, plus “DR 30+ Guaranteed” on the Authority plan. We publish no guarantee, because directories decide for themselves.
- You want a report with screenshots handed to you rather than a tracker you maintain.

- You want your own accounts used. What account a done-for-you run uses is not published on the pages we checked; with LaunchRepo the question does not arise.

Verdict
For one product, launched once, handed off and forgotten, StartupSubmit is a reasonable purchase and their published entry price is lower than ours. For a developer who will launch again — a second SaaS, a spin-off, a rebuild — the second purchase already costs more than €99.98 paid once, and you still would not own the process. There is also a middle path people actually take: buy a done-for-you run for the product that needs to be live next week, and buy the toolkit for everything after that. What you should not do is assume either one guarantees listings; we promise none, and their guarantee is about submissions delivered, not about what every directory chooses to publish.
