LaunchRepo vs SubmitSaaS

Automation-assisted done-for-you SaaS directory submissions, one-time per product

Checked on September 17, 2026 — prices and features from SubmitSaaS’s public website; verify before buying.

SubmitSaaS is the fast-and-cheap end of done-for-you: from $60, automation with human review pushes your SaaS into 60 to 140+ free directories within 48 hours, and you get a Google Sheet with screenshots. LaunchRepo is the opposite trade: one payment of €99.98, and your own agent works through 346 playbooks in your own browser, at your pace, for every product you build — with a tracker that records which listings actually went live. Their entry price is well below ours. Their scope, ownership model and what happens after the report are where the comparison gets interesting.

Who does the workYour own AI coding or browser agent, started by you. LaunchRepo is a toolkit, not a service.“We use smart automation combined with human review to handle submissions efficiently while maintaining accuracy.”
Accounts usedYour own accounts, in your own logged-in browser. Nobody signs in as you.By default “We create a dedicated email address” and the “credentials are handed over to you, so you retain full ownership”; you can ask them to use your own email instead. “For the small number of directories that only support Google Sign-In, we submit using our own Google account.”
What you own afterwardsThe repository with 346 playbooks, your product.json and your tracker — cloned to your machine and yours to keep. The listings, the Google Sheet with reports and screenshots, and the credentials of the dedicated email they created. Listings made through their Google account stay tied to it.
Directory count and source346 directory playbooks in the repo, each with preparation, form fields, blockers and what counts as a confirmation.“140+ Directories” at most, free ones only; the plan sets 60+, 100+ or 140+.

GuaranteesNone. Every directory decides for itself what it publishes, so we promise no listing, backlink or ranking.“We guarantee the number of directory submissions included in your package, our 48-hour turnaround, and a complete submission report.” Plans advertise “Increase your Domain Rating up to DR 10 / 15 / 20”. Best forDevelopers who ship more than one product and want a launch process they keep.A SaaS that needs a fast, cheap batch of free-directory submissions with a report, and does not need to know which ones were approved.

When SubmitSaaS is the better choice

  • You want the cheapest done-for-you run. Basic is published at $60 for 60+ submissions — a fraction of €99.98.
  • You want it finished in two days. A published “48-hour turnaround time” beats any first agent run with your attention in the loop.
  • You do not want to run an agent at all. Their automation and reviewers do the work; LaunchRepo needs you to start Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or a browser agent.
  • You want a submission-count promise. They guarantee the number of submissions, the turnaround and the report. We guarantee nothing.
  • You are fine with free directories only and a report you do not need to maintain.

When LaunchRepo is the better choice

  • You ship repeatedly. One payment covers every product you own; a plan is bought again per SaaS.
  • You want to know what went live. Their FAQ says they “do not provide a list of approved submissions”; our tracker records submitted, pending review, scheduled and live separately.
  • You want every listing in your own accounts. Their default is a dedicated email they create, and directories with Google Sign-In are submitted “using our own Google account”; with LaunchRepo your agent uses your logged-in browser only.
  • You want 346 playbooks including paid and application-only directories, not a 140+ batch of free ones.
  • You want to keep the process — repository, product brief, tracker — and rerun it after a rename, a pivot or a new product.

Verdict

For a cheap, quick batch of free-directory submissions with a report, SubmitSaaS is hard to beat on price and speed, and their submission-count guarantee is a real promise we do not make. Where it stops being enough: the second product, the listings tied to accounts you did not open, and the moment you want to know which submissions were approved rather than sent. That is what €99.98 paid once for 346 playbooks, your accounts and a state-based tracker buys. Neither product can promise what a directory will publish — they say so about approvals, and we say so about everything.

Questions about LaunchRepo vs SubmitSaaS

What is the real difference between LaunchRepo and SubmitSaaS?

Who does the work, whose accounts are used and what you know afterwards. SubmitSaaS is a per-product service with automation plus review, dedicated emails they create and a submission report; LaunchRepo is a repository bought once, run by your own agent in your accounts, with a tracker that records what went live.

Which one is cheaper?

For one product, clearly SubmitSaaS: Basic is published at $60 and Premium at $140, both below €99.98. From the second product onwards LaunchRepo costs nothing more. Prices checked 17 September 2026 — verify both before buying.

Whose accounts are the listings in?

SubmitSaaS creates a dedicated email by default and hands over its credentials; directories that only support Google Sign-In are submitted through their own Google account. With LaunchRepo every submission happens in your own logged-in browser.

Does SubmitSaaS tell me which listings were approved?

Their FAQ states: “No, we do not provide a list of approved submissions.” LaunchRepo’s tracker separates submitted, pending review, scheduled and live, but you or your agent do the checking — nobody can guarantee an approval.

Can I use both?

Yes. A cheap batch for the product that needs to be everywhere by Friday, and the toolkit for everything after — as long as the listings you care about end up in accounts you own.
