Definition
A scheduled listing is one where the directory has confirmed a launch date in the future. It is more than a submission — the platform has accepted a slot — and less than a listing: nothing is public yet, and on several platforms the slot still depends on approval.
Scheduled is a date, not a publication. When the date passes, the listing has to be verified again before it can be called live.
Why it matters for a directory launch
Launch platforms hand out dates freely, sometimes the next available day. If your pricing page is not ready or you want all listings to go live in the same week, an early slot is a problem, not a win. And because a scheduled listing can still be declined, counting it as live would overstate the result twice.
How LaunchRepo handles it
The tracker records scheduled only with the confirmed date passed explicitly, and refuses a date earlier than the earliest launch date set in product.json. Outstanding approval — as observed on TinyLaunch, where a confirmed weekly slot still showed “Waiting for approval” — stays in the note. Scheduled rows come up for verification on their date in the dashboard.
