The default values are examples. Fifteen minutes by hand is a modest guess for a simple form; account creation, email verification and long forms often take longer. Use your own experience.

- One payment, no subscription. Nothing is metered and nothing unlocks later.

- The 19% is German VAT as a reference; at checkout Stripe applies the tax for your country and the final amount is shown before you pay.

What it leaves out
The calculator compares cost. It deliberately leaves out what nobody can promise.
- No acceptance or publication rate. Every directory decides what it publishes and when.
- No traffic, ranking, backlink or revenue figures, and no return on investment.
- No paid listings. LaunchRepo’s default runs use free routes only; a paid upgrade would be your own extra cost.

Frequently asked questions
- How much does directory submission cost?
- Free routes cost no money, but each one costs time. Multiply the directories you try by your minutes per directory and your hourly rate; the calculator does this and adds any tool or service you pay for.
- Is manual directory submission cheaper than a tool?
- For a handful of directories, often yes. As products and attempts grow, your hours grow with them, while a one-time tool cost stays the same. The break-even line in the calculator shows where that happens for your numbers.
- What does LaunchRepo cost?
- A one-time payment shown in the price section above, including VAT, for every product you own. There is no subscription. You use your own AI agent, so its plan is a separate cost you enter yourself.
- Why does the calculator count my time with an agent?
- Because an honest setup still needs you: you review copy, approve facts and solve CAPTCHAs or two-factor prompts. A few minutes per directory is a realistic starting point; change it to match your experience.
- Does a lower cost mean more listings?
- No. The calculator compares cost only. How many directories accept and publish your product depends on each platform and on your product, so it never predicts listings, traffic or revenue.
- Are my numbers sent anywhere?
