Next to the magazine, summit, job board and research it runs a Startup Database sorted by country: on the day we checked it showed 7,242 UK entries, 4,563 German, 2,940 French, 2,757 Spanish and thirty countries in total, sortable by name, total funding or founding year.

What to prepare

  • One country category, your founding year and a funding figure; the form offers “No funding announced yet” if you have not raised anything.
  • A short business description and a long one, your city, tags and the website URL the listing points to.
  • A single image: the plan card reads “Free Listing, Free, Never Expires, 1 image allowed”, so a clean square logo.

Live means a page under eu-startups.com/directory/<slug>/ carrying your descriptions, location, tags, total funding, founding year, website and company status, with the entry showing up in its country listing.

Worth knowing

The submission is a three-step wizard — category, listing information, images — and the site runs a bot check that trips automated clients, so fill it in from a real browser. Advertising, the summit, premium reports and the startup sourcing service are separate paid products; the database entry itself is offered on the free plan.
