Plan directory work with a zero-spend budget

Use eligibility and asset checks to decide where to spend agent time before attempting a submission.

Prepare a verified product brief

Record the product URL, audience, actual features, current pricing and approved screenshots. Keep unknown metrics explicitly unknown. A trial with limited credits is not a permanent free plan. Prepare a concise outcome description and a separate comparison description using real alternatives.

Check fit before form filling

Choose categories the product actually serves. Inspect the current submission route and account capacity. Uneed’s observed pending-launch limit and Fazier’s observed rating and badge requirements show why a nominal free route can still be unavailable to your product. Do not turn those observations into a universal promise.

Define stopping conditions

Stop for payment requirements, missing verified mandatory facts, CAPTCHA or two-factor authentication. Leave a useful handoff describing the blocker. Do not buy a queue jump, fabricate eligibility, remove another product or create a second account to evade limits. A badge requires permission to change the product website.

Review every final screen

TinyLaunch’s observed workflow included optional services and another upgrade dialog after scheduling. Check the actual total and final confirmation. On PitchWall, review imported text and login consent before submitting. Saved profile text should be reopened to verify that it persisted.

Budget attempts honestly

Divide toolkit cost by the number of products multiplied by suitable planned attempts. For example, EUR 100 across four products and six attempts each is about EUR 4.17 per attempt, excluding agent costs. If only three directories fit, the allocation doubles. None of these numbers predicts acceptance, traffic or ranking.
