Who lists here
Vendors of off-the-shelf B2B software and IT service providers. The guidelines exclude B2C-only products, personal apps, product clones and custom-built software, and resellers may only list with exclusive authorisation from the vendor.
What to prepare
- A work email address — the sign-up form rejects consumer providers such as Gmail, Outlook and Hotmail — plus head office, employee count, customer count and a category.
- Name and logo, a description and screenshots, which the guidelines say every listing must include; they also recommend at least one screenshot or video.
- Copy that follows the do’s and don’ts: the exact product name, no first person, no superlatives, no calls to action and no company suffixes such as Inc or LLC.
What “live” means here
Live means your profile resolves on softwaresuggest.com under its own slug, sits in at least one category and can collect user reviews. Paid plans add Premium Listing, which the pricing page defines as placement above non-paid members.
Worth knowing
The guidelines say listings are rarely removed on request; the team prefers to update them, so get the description right before you submit. Category fit is decided at SoftwareSuggest’s sole discretion.
